I don't know if the rest of you have had this problem, but I don't seem to be as confident with this second essay as the first. I find it a lot easier to comment and write about myself and the wackiness/stupidity that occurs, rather than trying to educate on another subject.
i didn't mind the second one, but that's because i'm pretty familiar with my subject (my grandmother) so maybe if you chose someone you knew fairly well, and just sort of described them... i think you mentioned writing about your fugitive grandfather- that sounds like a lot to write about- I'd try that out.
ReplyDeleteAndrew, as you can see from one of my recent postings, I agree with you that this essay is more difficult than the personal one. I also agree with Katy's comments that you may be more comfortable writing about your grandfather. If you decided to do so, I have not received a copy of your new essay yet. Good luck!!
